ECOI held its Nature Photography Contest in early 2024. We recorded a total of 52 submissions from students all around Hong Kong. Winners were each awarded a HKD200 Bookazine gift card, a certificate and stickers to recognize their exceptional photography skills. We thank everyone for their participation!
In collaboration with the Joint School Volunteers' Association (JSVA), we successfully held a beach cleanup at the Clear Water Bay Second Beach, and collected a total of 52.8 pounds worth of trash. Thank you to HKJSVA and all volunteers who participated!
We were invited by the ITS Foundation YAC to hold a workshop at the UN International Day of Education event. We had a great time holding a tote bag designing workshop and discussing the importance and impact of education. Thanks for having us!
The beach cleanup was successfully held at Deep Water Bay Beach! Although we only picked up a total of 1.54 pounds of trash, we were happy to see how clean the beach was. Thank you all for their hard work!
The beach cleanup was successfully held at Stanley Back Beach! We picked up a total of 47.74 pounds of trash, and recycled some of the plastic bottles afterwards. Thank you everyone for attending! :)
We had the opportunity to set up a booth at the ITS Foundation YAC International Youth Day event! It was an invaluable experience for us to learn more about green skills and network with other NGOs. We are very grateful for the invitation.

It was an amazing opportunity to set up a booth at the Impact Fair and hold a workshop at this annual event held by the CDNIS GGC Council. We are grateful to have the platform to meet fellow like-minded peers on our change- making journey, as well as the chance to raise public awareness on the environment!
On February 17th of 2023, some of our members volunteered in a Bread Runner held by Breadline. We collected over 80 surplus bread from 7-11, and Saint Honore, located in Causeway Bay, Wan Chai, Central and Lohas Park.
On January 15th of 2023, our team went to Shek O Beach for our first beach cleanup! We picked up 6 bags of rubbish, most of them being styrofoam and cigarettes. We also recycled some plastic bottles and metal cans we found!
